CONFLUENTE
Confluence occurs when two or more bodies meet, creating a harmonic cluster of elements that contrast and merge at the same time to form a common riverbed.
Designed specifically for FAMA, this installation provides rest and works as a transition area within the art fair. Having no specific programming, the piece proposes various forms of interaction for visitors. Parting from the relationship between design and art, the installation presents a duality as a functional object and at the same time as a subjective structure that does not necessarily respond to a specific need. Its shape is constructed by means of the superposition of volumes and basic geometric subtractions, where colors and materials that propose diverse uses are combined; the installation suggests and people decide. This piece was developed in collaboration with Mevima, an engineering and manufacturing workshop for architecture and construction projects.
