Working with Ediciones Jalapa
Our project with Ediciones Jalapa is well on its way. Last week we visited Mexico City for a series of meetings to work on the last details of the project before beginning its production at La Carpinteria MX. I really enjoy E/J’s way of collaborating, putting together a diverse roster of young designers to feed off each other’s views, making the meetings a really dynamic and entertaining.
Ediciones Jalapa’s brief for this project was to create a collection of service furniture objects to be produced in the same materials and process, aided by La Carpinteria MX workshop. Other designers working on this projects are Anais Calderón, Rodrigo Da Silva, Emiliano Hamui and Ricardo Rodriguez.
The collection will be presented in the coming month of September at Ediciones Jalapa, we will keep you informed about the date and time.
