CINZA
During an intense summer workshop organized by Cemex and the Tec de Monterrey, a selected group of designers worked together with chemical engineers to generate concepts that would recycle the toxic material ''fly ash'' without being harmful for the environment and the users. The result was ''Cinza'', a family of products for the garden that turns ash into green.

Mixtures with different percentages: of fly ash were made to test.

Tests for flexion, compression, UV: rays, and tension.

The design direciton was made into: 3D models for prototyping.

Fiberglass molds were made for two: full scale prototypes.

Prototypes were made using the: selected mix of 50% flyash.

Double pot.

Create your own paths.

Variations by adding color to the: mix.

A full range of products for the: garden was developed.
